RETRO REVIEW – Kula World (PS1)

So… this is a game about balls?

Kula World is a 3D puzzle game released for the Playstation back in 1998. “What’s Kula World?!”, you may be saying to yourself. Well, Kula World was one of those underrated games that most people wouldn’t know about. Basically, you’re a beach ball that has to collect keys to open an exit to escape, I wish I was making this up. So the game may sound silly, but what is it like to play?

RETRO REVIEW – Blaster Master (NES)

Oh the 80’s. It’s music was amazing, cinema was booming and the video game industry both crashed and made a triumphant return. It was a great decade to be alive, and one of the many reasons for that was a game from Sunsoft called Blaster Master, for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

The good old NES had a great library of games in every genre, including sidescrollers, RPG’s, adventure games, sports, and many different combinations of those. One such combination was the brilliant marriage between a sidescroller and a 3D adventure. The child of this marriage was Blaster Master.

RETRO REVIEW – Donkey Kong Country (SNES)

Right, time for some more hot reviewing action, and what better game to tackle then my favourite game on the SNES… well, at least out of the 4 or 5 that I’ve owned!

I wouldn’t say it’s 3D, but meh.
