E3 2010 In 5 Minutes: Part 1 – Microsoft

September 6, 2010

I would like to give a short explanation about the thought, original idea behind this video and why the hell it is being posted almost 3 months late. You should probably read this before watching it though. Or not. No one likes reading anyway.

My first concept was to take the 3 big E3 2010 Press Conferences and give it a “5 second movies” vibe, only not as short.

The problem was that not only did I have some major time constraints once E3 was around, making it hard to release on the closest date possible to the E3 week, (loosing more and more relevance as time went by) but also the fact that after completing something like 2/3 of it, I began realizing that maybe the concept wasn’t as funny on video as it was on my original mental image. I still stand by that.

Nevertheless, the truth is that the E3 2010 In 5 Minutes project has been mostly complete for some time now, even thought I don’t believe I will finish it. So with that in mind, I decided to post the first of the 3 parts: Microsoft Press Conference. This way, all the time, sweat and blood put on this won’t feel as much as a complete waste.

Hope you guys like it! (and if you do happen to enjoy this first part, I could always post the second one, Nintendo’s Press Conference.)

Also posted on Screwattack.

Gamers Enemies vlog – thank yous and blurrypron prize unboxing

February 6, 2010

Do you want to see a douche with a Russian accent butcher the English language multiple times!? Then jump right in!
Now seriously, as I say on the video, this is a big thank you note to every one that helped me and made me want to do continue doing more and better videos.
There are more episodes of Gamers Enemies on the making, its just a matter of having more free time to get some filming done.

If you have no idea of what the hell  I’m talking about, go watch Gamers Enemies – Nature’s Call.

This video is more directed to my fans over at Screwattack. But I did get some views over here as well, so lets get this started.

Part 2 of the video after the jump.

Free Weekend – 09/01/02

January 2, 2010

Since this is the first entry on my new blog series, a small introduction is needed:
Following the ended “TEH NEWZ” I used to post on a (mostly) weekly basis, now I decided to start writhing again and move onto something less time consuming. A blog series where I will post a vast array of free stuff that you can find online. Be it games, music, movies, etc… Anything that its worth your time.
I guess one of the reasons I’m doing this is because I feel that so many artists, programmers and designers give so much great content and quite often receive so little praise. Not only that but considering that getting laid off has become more and more  common in so many countries, getting free stuff is maybe now more appreciated then ever.

This is going to be divided in 4 parts (at least for now): downloadable games, games you can play of the browser,  music track/album and video/movie.

Lets get started then!

Gamers Enemies – Nature’s Call

November 11, 2009

The craptastic video I was talking about in the last post a few weeks back is finally done and uploaded!

As I explain over at youtube, this is the first episode of a little video series I’m hopping to continue making. The idea is simple:  we gamers talk a lot about the enemies we confront in  games, but what about the ones we have to face on our daily lives while gaming?

This is something I had in my head and paper for a few months now. While the video itself didn’t took that many hours to film and edit, what made it take so long for me to actually finish it was the fact that I can only do this kinda of thing mostly during the weekends. And even during weekends, sometimes I just wan’t to do nothing for a change. All in all, for a less then 2 minutes long video, it took more then it should.
Then again, I didn’t do any of the steps in one sitting. Being a first, this had a lot of tinkering with the camera, lighting and editing, as I wanted to give the best impression possible for the first episode.

Thank you Microsoft for making a video editing tool that makes creating something like this so easy I almost feel bad about it.

Any kind of feedback, ideas for next episodes, or plain compliments on my feet, are more then welcome. (especially the last bit)

(don’t forget my Twitter of awesomeness)

State Of The Nation

October 20, 2009

As some of you may have already realized, it is pretty evident that our content stream got a bit dry the past month or so. School started for the most part of us, some of our contributors just vanished from the face of the earth, all in all, a number of problems hit our site pretty hard.
Dead is such a strong word, so lets call it an hiatus instead.

Still, don’t worry fellow readers (yes, all three of you), you can expect, from me that is, both a new video and article series. They are still in the making, so I won’t get into much detail before having something more solid to show you all. I won’t be able to put them out as much as I would like to, since I’m currently in college and all that fun stuff, but as always, I’m trying to make something different here.

On another note, I have twitter now! HURRAY!! I use it more to follow others rather than posting about my bowel movements and weather reports of my current location. But I digress. Just add me to the “follow” list if you want, Ill gladly return the favor.

Oh and don’t forget, ideas, feedback, contributions… nude pics? Everything is more then welcome.

And now, here is a picture of a puppy.

You see? Now this post wasn’t a complete wast of time.
